Folkshire exists because Yorkshire deserves better than a directory. We write up places we would send a friend to, in the words we would use.

Every entry says where it came from and when it was last checked. If we can't stand behind a fact — opening hours, prices, availability — we don't print it.

Photography is our emotional layer, so we only publish images we have the rights to use. Anything else stays out of sight until it is cleared.
